Cant play this game on my Macbook Pro

I cant play this game on my macbook pro. Whenever I start the game up there is a white bar on top of the screen. I have to click about 3 inches above an option to select it in the game. When I start the gameplay I cant ever get past the part where it shows the controls to play the game. The arrow disappears. Please fix this problem!
